What is the Nigeria Arise Project?

The Arise Project was created to mobilize and empower communities while acting as a pressure group. Its purpose is to dedicate time and resources to the periodic Nigeria Arise Awards, an independent award initiative led by Nigerians in the Diaspora. The awards aim to inspire recipients from government and institutions to prioritize the welfare of citizens and foster better living standards.

Since its inception in 2010, the Nigeria Arise Committee has honoured individuals and organizations from diverse backgrounds with the highly respected Nigeria Arise Award. This initiative plays a vital role in fostering national development and enhancing leadership capabilities.

Why the Nigeria Arise Awards?

The awards were created in collaboration with BEN Television and other key stakeholders to celebrate Nigeria’s unique talents and achievements. By recognizing corporate entities and leaders who inspire the public, the awards set benchmarks for service excellence and corporate responsibility.

Additionally, the Special Recognitions Awards (SR Awards) aim to honour unsung heroes and icons, providing a platform for recipients to benchmark their contributions for global recognition and governance.
